clock issue after replacing oem unit

I have a 17 Maxima Platinum that had the head unit crapped out during a failed update (no cameras, audio, or nav). Got an almost new oem replacement and hooked everything back up. Everything else is working but I can't adjust the clock on my cluster, which reset when I unhooked the battery during the swap. The analog clock on the digital screen is blank...just a clock face. Any ideas?

Update
Checked the diagnostic menu which indicated a GPS antenna issue...undid everything and found the blue antenna connection was loose...clock's working now...

this is great info. I bet it syncs the clock through GPS

Strange how it needs the GPS signal for this but the car will not reset itself for the spring and fall changes. Hondas I had with GPS would do this automatically

hahahahhaha yeah you're right... it's probably just not getting past the gps antenna check or something and not loading the clock module. maybe the clock module is the last to load... it prolly doesn't sync with anything.

Just curious what type of update killed the head unit. I have a 2017.5 SV and it's never indicated any updates.
