2018 Platinum- Had to get rid of it after only 43K miles

I did love my blue Maxima platinum , but I had to get rid of it fast. All of a sudden it started to give problems even thought it was not driven a lot and garage kept. It all started with the satellite radio going out. It was not a big deal for me but then the A/C was not cooling and I just paid for some freon. Then I decided to take it to the dealer for a regular oil change and I requested the cabin filter to be changed. They also saw that a needed new brakes, When they took the filter out they showed me how it was full of dye due to a leak on the evaporator inside the cabin. On top of this when they connected the computer (I was next to the technician) a Red box popped up: CVT TRANSMISSION module failing code. I looked at him and said, I'm selling this **** today and he gave me the u should look.
He told me that car with only 43800 miles needed:
TRANSMISSIION MODULE = $2400
REPLACE EVAPORATION INSIDE CAR ( REMOVING ALL THE DASH) = 2500
ALL BRAKES INCLUDING ROTORS= $ 700
SATELLITE ANTENNA (OPTIONAL) $400
TOTAL $ 6,000
In less than 35 minutes I was at Carmax getting a quote. They offered me 22K ( The car is in showroom condition)
I took this quote to an Acura Dealer and they matched it plus I would be saving that portion in Tax.
3 hours later I was driving a new TLX .

Those 6K were invested in the down payment plus the 22K of the Maxima that was already paid for. I have new loan (but with a very low monthly payment)..
But Nissan never again. The same thing happened me with (2) prior Infinity's but now I learned my lesson...

Wow man that's a lot to take all at one time. I'm with you 100% though, when my 2015 F150 started having rapid fire issues I dumped it and I now drive a 2019 RAM. No more Fords for me, luckily my 2010 Maxima is still going strong at 192k miles, but I won't be buying another Nissan either, their quality along with Infiniti has dropped significantly. Best of luck with the new ride.

Dealership prices are insane, I just paid $500 for replacing spark plugs.

It's crazy how some cars just break down. I have 130k miles on my 2017 SL and nothing so far like the issues you had! Just 43k miles too dang.
