Transmission Fluid Change Question
Transmission Fluid Change Question
So I am approaching 60k miles on my 2017 maxima and having started looking into getting my transmission fluid changed. I have read that a full flush is the way to go but it seems every nissan service center only does drain and fills, I've tried 4 local Nissan centers and all are the same. My question is, is there really a big difference between a drain and fill versus a full flush. Is it worth me continuing to look further out to try to find one that does it or should I just settle for a drain and fill.
Thanks in advance!

I thought about it but was advised to have someone else (a shop/dealership service center) do it for me. I was mainly trying to figure out if I should keep looking for a shop to do a full flush or just settle for what seems to be every place doing just drain and fills (which I will prob go with)
Stick with what Nissan does. Drain and fills are sufficient and will keep your CVT humming along. I've put 400k miles on Maxima CVTS with no transmission issues. Have Nissan do it or if you want to save a few bucks, go to a transmission shop.
