ATF drain and fill question

ATF drain and fill question
I have a 2003 auto. I did a drain and fill today in which 4 quarts were drained then filled. I filled with Mobil 1 multi vehicle ATF which I believe is a synthetic blend. Checked the fluid and it looked pretty good. I would like to do another drain and fill just to be safe. My questions are:
How long should I wait to do another 4 quart drain and fill?
After that drain and fill is completed how my miles can I go before draining and filling again? (basically what is the change interval)
Thanks for your insight.

ATF capacity is 9 or 12 quarts - can't remember off the top of my head...
I usually do a drain & fill once a week for 3 weeks. The first D&F you're removing 100% old fluid, and then more of a mixture of old/new fluid. It doesn't remove all old fluid but the trans hasn't had any issues with 137k on the clock...
I usually do ATF once a year in the spring but the Maxima is recommended to replace at 30k. Mobil One should be longer, but if you really want to know check out Bob Is The Oil Guy forums or send a sample off to Blackstone
