Got hit and need input on fixing myself

Estimate was $1300, I think its only $900 in reality. I dont have that kind of cash to throw at a 15yr old car so any thought on fixing this myself? I have done some body repair but it was years ago.

Option 1 sand and paint
Option 2 sand, message metal, bondo, paint
Option 3 pay someone to do it...

Id say option one but use a primer first or option two if the scratches are deep.

where is the damage, i can't tell.. door?some of quarter panel?
