Just wanted to find out what you guys think I should set my toe to.

My primary goal is to improve the turn in, but the car is driven on the street 99% of the time, and from time to time speed might exceed 100mph. So I'm also worried about high speed stability.

I was thinking of setting it to something like 0.03" toe out. Is it too aggressive... not aggressive enough?

If you're talking about autoX turn-in, then the more toe-out you run, the better. I know guys that run 5/8" of toe-out, but they're crazy bastids... more like 1/8 or 1/4" would be fine for a serious auto Xer. 1/8" shouldn't be too hard on tires for street use.

If you're talking about a road course setup, leave the toe set to zero. provides more stability on the high speed straights and under hard braking. otherwise the car likes to wander.. not good when you mash the brakes at 130mph!!

I don't really expect to go to a racetrack in the near future, but since I need the car to be safe and stable at very high speeds I guess I'll set it to zero. Thanks!

i know the FSM says 0 to 0.10 is within spec...0.03 should be completely fine...I recently got an alignment and mine came out to be 0.06 on both sides...

I run 1/8" out...helps with turn in a lot! and isn't a terrible amount which wear your tires too fast...

How does it feel at high speeds? Also, does it feel fine in the wet?

it feels just as stable as when I had my toe set at factory settings...I think high speed stability comes more from how stable your tires are at high speeds and how they track as well as your suspension setup more than toe settings as you have to keep in mind, I am only running 1/8" out...as matt stated earlier, some guys are running 5/8" out...it probably chews their tires alive, but they must have amazing turn-in...! at that level I would assume there would be a huge effect on high speed stability, but not at 1/8" out...my tire wear seems to be marginally effected at best...

as far as wet goes, it rarely rains out here in los angeles, but I can tell you that the kind of tires you have contribute more to wet stability/grip than your alignment settings I would think...

hm... so what should I set it too...

I think I'll set it to something between what you and Matt have suggested, to be on the safe side. I'm kinda worried about high speed safety... (as I also like to speed )

Something like 1/16 out or even 1/32 out. (the opposite of factory specs)

I had 1/16" out before going to 1/8"....very little difference...but I am not very sensitive to things like that...we absolutely need some toe out to turn in our crazy understeering cars...lol

That should be fine. Anything slightly out is better than OEM and under 1/8" you won't get any significant wear. I used to run 1/4" out on the street that got a little squirly with expansion joints and a stiff susp.
