Time for a D2 rebuild...
Anyone done this? If so, was it difficult (By difficult I mean like rebuilding an engine....)? It's definitly time. The front right strut is knocking pretty badly even though everything is nice and tight. I've searched the internet, but couldn't find rebuild kits or parts lists. I've sent out a couple of e-mails to distributors but probably won't hear back until Monday.

look for a thread from bluesbreakr.. he emailed me about it several months back... I told him to contact D2 about buying new shocks for his setup, and that's eventually what he wound up doing. for the cost of parts to repair, you can just replace the whole shock part and keep your current springs and perches.
it'll be the same thing with my KTS coilovers when I'm ready to do them as well.

Never got a chance to update this one: I called d2 (www.d2racing.com) and had them send me two new struts for $220 (shipping included). I replaced them and don't have a single problem now. The rattle was the struts.

The whole strut or just the valve?
