i replaced my front struts not too long ago and the 2 wimpy rubber o-rings that held the sleeve in place had disentegrated. i had some RTV silicone so i decided to use that. the driverside has stayed in place but now im getting a squeaky clunky sound like something other than the spring is moving around, especially on bumps and dips. im guessing its the sleeve that isnt in place and is moving around. has anyone had this problem? and what would you suggest using to hold the sleeve in place? ... something that is strong and will last long. oh btw, im using tokico illuminas.
