BBK Squealing

Ok, I have a 5.5 gen with AP Racing BBK. I been getting excessive squealing, what do I go about to get rid of this? I did the brake "brake" in thing, it dont seem to work. The squealing is getting real annoying now. Question is people with BBK, do you also get squealing? What did you do to solve it? And did you keep the heat shield, could this be reason why im getting squealing?

Sell me the BBK you won't have the issue

What kinda pads do you have ? What kinda rotors ? MOST Brembo brakes I've dealt with do squeal.... if they don't they dust alot.

I want your BBK.

How did you break in your pads? What pads did you end up getting? I have the ap bbk, and I have no squeel whatsoever. I broke in my pads by going 80-50 about eight times.

It's likely an issue with the pads. These brake kits are made for high performance, not high comfort. You generally sacrifice some noise and part life for greater performance. Some additional noise over stock should be expected.

But if they're squealing like a school bus all of the time, then you may want to look at different pad compounds. I suggest giving raceshopper.com's sales guys a call. they should have several pad compounds to recommend, and have the experience to deal with them.
(Stillen as well, but they're $$$$$$$)
