Help on BBK brake line mounting

Almost finished with the 13" BBK using J30 calipers. One side is completely done except the fact that I can't get the SS brake line to stay in the strut mounting point. I've got tokico illuminas and it easily slides through both sides so I can't put the retainer clip back on. Anybody ran into this before thinking about maybe trying to "crush" the mounting point closed a little or making a washer for the other side or something. Also I got the brake lines from automax_95.

I used a zip tie because mine would not stay for long.

depends on the caliper and required length of the line. various kits require different lines. For this one, he can use a stock/SS line to fit stock.

Morpheus, I suggest you tie the brake lines to something. last thing you want to do is have a line rupture after rubbing against your strut. it'll always break right when you need it the most (since that's when you're putting the most stress on it).

And yes, generally you can just squeeze the tabs together a bit on the strut and make the clips stay in place. I've seen that happen on several different brands of brake lines.
