Suspension rebuild part #'s from DaveB

I know, there are already a ton of threads like this. But so far all the threads I've read have all listen Courtsey part #'s, and not the ones from Dave B. Apparently Courtsey changes the last 5 digits so it's hard to cross reference them.

I got the OK from Dave, so here are the part numbers to the parts you will need when you replace your suspension. Let me know if you think I need anything else on the list and I can get the pn from Dave. This is for 4th gen only.

2 of each
54034-31U01 Seat-Rubber Front
55034-31U00 Seat-Rubber Rear
54034-31U10 Seat-Rubber Front
54320-40U02 Insulator assembly/Front Strut mount
54325-5V000 Strut Bearing
55031-31U10 Tube-Rear Spring
56218-61L10 Bushing- Rear Shock
56217-61L10 Bushing Shock

I don't have dustboots/bumpstops on the list because I already have AGX bumpstops on the car from 4 years ago. Should they be replaced by now?

Thanks once again goes out to Dave for being so helpful with everything. If this has already been posted,

So does anybody know how long AGX dustboots are good for?

After comparing my list to others I have compiled, my list looks a little short. I don't know if it's due to different part numbers/names, but I think I'm missing something.
Do I need any of these parts (Courtsey PNs)?

54034-A3201 [FRONT] Lower Spring Sleeve 1995-1999 Maxima $7.55
54034-A3202 [FRONT] Middle Spring Sleeve 1995-1999 Maxima $10.87
54034-A3203 [FRONT] Upper Spring Sleeve 1995-1999 Maxima $10.56
54329-A3201 [FRONT] Upper Spacer Gasket 1995-1999 Maxima $8.32
54034-85E10 Seal-rubber,fro (Polyurethane sleeve)
55031-33P10 Seal-rubber,fro (Polyurethane sleeve)
54320-40U00 Frt Strut Mount 2X 30.52= 61.04- Already on list
54050-31U02 Frt Bumper Assb 2X 10.69= 21.38- front dustboot?
55240-0M315 Rear Bumper Assb 2X 20.96= 41.92- rear dustboot?

Anybody have any idea what I do or don't need? All these different names and part numbers are very confusing.

Well all rebuild parts front and rear cost almost $300 IIRC. Not cheap, but worth it IMO.

Well as I was getting home from your place the axle (I hope) started making noise going over speedbumps, so I haven't driven it since Sunday. I just ordered a Raxle axle which should come in by next week. Until then I don't feel comfortable doing anything with my car. What do you say about helping me install this axle, and this time I will actually detail your car?

What's the deal with the writeup? You want to give me the PW to the photobucket account so I can upload the pics?

BTW, how's the drone?

I know NOTHING about axles...NOTHING.

I can PM you the password to host the photos.

Drone is a bit annoying. I am buying a resonator today if the guy sends me paypal info. After that, I'll be putting the rest of the exhaust on ASAP. Doing that part is a 1-2 hour job.

when doing axles....make sure to remember to drain the tranny first. Redline MT-90 makes an awful mess when its pouring all over your driveway. Ask me how I know.

btw, sorry i never called you back Nick. I didn't get the message until yesterday for some reason. Did you guys figure out the problem?

Yup, Patrick figured out a a way to get it to fit and so far it has worked beautifully. I owe him a detail of his Spec for his hard work. The Ultimate Detailing Machine works wonders

i noticed that my strut assy moved whenever i moved the tire.

(by looking at it when the hood was up)

how do i stabilize it and stop the squeaking?!

also- i noticed it got worse when its cold.

you guys could pm or whatever- or post it up here for future reference.

Sounds like your strut mount is broken - or at least the bearing or whatever you call the rubber part of the mount.

If you are looking at the piston nut at the top of the mount from under the hood and it moves from side to side, the mount is broken.

Otherwise, you may need to tighten the piston nut or the 3 nuts holding the strut to the mount.
