Problems with megan racing damper kit...
I put the kit on yesterday and i am trying to adjust/fix everything today. Few questions...
1. I adjusted the rear to be the same, right about 18 threads(right over an inch of thread) up i think, but after i lower the care they are completely different( passenger tucking while driver side is right riding height, and the passenger rear strut will not let adjust the softness or hardness, the **** will not turn at all.
2.After i test drove it last night and all i hear and feel is vibration in right front and when barely turning, it pulls as is my power steering is incredibly sensitive or something, i also need to fix the camber on the front. It also looks like new grease or leak at the inside boot, i think i might of pulled the boot off a little or maybe need new front right axle even though there are fairly new.
input please....

well i fixed all of the height and put the rears the same on the coilver but the actual drop height is almost a whole inch off and the steering is rediculous, the wheel will turn by itself, all the way until it hits the stop, after i turn the steering wheel about 180 degress, and i have to manually turn it back to straight...guess it's just gonna stay straight until it goes to the shop. this sucks
Yeah, that's what I was saying Im having also. Its because the piston inside the damper is in a different spot. Could be possible oil differences, friction, dirt, anything really...its just the way it is.
The steering wheel pulls? Is one of your fron tires off on toe? Both of mine are just a bit , the right more extreme. My car veers when I let go of the wheel.

update: figures that the coilovers i received were put together wrong by megan racing and front right axle replaced as well lower control arms...now just need alignment to fix toe and camber and to fix the right rear sag...
Megan racing stuff is crap. There's a reason they're so cheap. you get what you pay for.

Actually they are made in the same building, and they look pretty similar. Megan coilovers have become a popular setup for many other vehicles. A few lines from Apex'i and all of the Megan coilovers are made by Bor-Chuann (BC Racing) based in Taiwan. BC Racing has recently developed their own line of coilovers after a decade of manufacturing for others and the reviews have been pretty darn good. BC also has a setup for the A32 and A33's but I doubt anybody has a set.

I'll admit, I don't like Megan Racing products. The company has had a relatively poor record with their parts in terms of both build quality and performance. But I won't totally count a product out w/o any real experience. With that being said, I simply mentioned the company that manufactures Megan's coilovers to point out that it (BC Racing) is not regarded as your run of the mill "Made in China" crap.
On a side note, the Geo Metro--a rebadged Suzuki Cultus--may indeed carry the same Chevrolet brand name as the Corvette, but they are certainly not manufactured in the same plant. This is analogous to the many Japanese tuner companies that have their entry-level and high-end products built by separate contracts.
CLIFFS: I wasn't promoting Megan's coilovers..just trying to find out more about the product so we can have more options.

I didn't say anything about the same factory. I said the same people.
And as you just said,
We know Megan is crap... We know Apexi is not.

so everyone things megan is crap?wish i would have known before hand, i tried to do my research and decided ksports and d2's where not even an option because of all the problems i had read on them. I didnt really find much on megan and they were just cheaper than tein(after i paid 2 day shipping...dont ask)....megan's overrall ride qaulity is not bad, but if u have any problems with the product after install, like if they ship you the coilovers asssembled wrong, dont expect any customer service
