BC Racing owners step inside.....
How low is your front coilovers from the ground to the middle of your fender well? I'm having trouble with mine and they don't want to lower anymore than where it's at? I'd like some feedback.

i don't have an answer to your question but if you want to be low, get ksports or d2's.

I have a feeling you're doing it wrong, the rears will bottom out for sure because of how the body encloses the whole shock, but the fronts, you will get to a point to where the shock body will hit the axle, that's when you can't go any lower with that method, once there you will have to compress the spring a bit to get that extra .5 inch, but not too much more

I've had the spring compressed from the get go way past the 5mm preload with the shock bottom lowered another .60" and the height didn't move. I also did it vise verse, dropped the preload on the spring and lifted back to it's original mark and it still didn't do anything. Still read the same height.

only reason i couldnt go lower when i had mine, at the time i didnt have a low profile jack. but i had it go lower to the point the jack wouldnt come from under the car and had to readjust, so i never got to measure

Buddy of mine is an Infiniti Technician and he has several Nissans with coilover systems, he told me that the shock is too strong and it won't expand/compress anymore. That's what I've been thinking from the get go as well, that's why I want to see several ride heights from BC racing owners.

I got to thinking last night, maybe because my camber is at 0 is the reason why I won't go lower? I know the more you lower, the more neg camber your going to get and the higher you raise it the more pos camber you get, I don't know, have to check that out.

Camber is a separate adjustment. You can zero your camber when you are low as well.

I would remove the coilover completely from the car and try to spin the lower mount upwards towards the lower spring perch to close that gap.

That doesn't make any sense because the shock damper does not compress when adjusting ride height, the shock body is threaded into the lower mount which does nothing to the stroke/travel/compression of the damper itself.

I might of found the resolution, but it's something to try tomorrow. Somebody told me they read that somebody strut bar wasn't letting the car lower due to the stiffness of the strut bar, so i'll try lowering tomorrow without my strut bar on. It does and doesn't make sense, but we'll see

I know someone locally that's slammed on BC's, there's gotta be a solution, I'm not going crazy, I know how suspension works.

Update, so I've been talking to BC back and forth, they want me to adjust everything their way(which I've done just in reverse), if not, BC says I need to buy shorten shock bodies? I can't believe other people are slammed on BC's and I can't? This is weird, I hope "their" way works.

I was going to make a new thread, but I figured I would post up in here first since there are other BCR owners already in here.
Ever since I got my BCR coilovers installed, the front ones have squeaked pretty loudly for a few days after they get wet (after it rains or I wash the car). I have set and reset my preload, and I know it's correct, and I can't figure out what else I can do to eliminate this squeaking. IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY! Can anyone help me out here? Is there something I need to lubricate?
