the 3.5 swaps future

Realistically what do you think about the future of 3.5 swaps for us 4th gens's, do you think this will be the new replacement for burn out high milage VQ30's? What do you think a shop would charge for the swap?...just thinkin out loud

Well if you want a full 3.5 swap it will be pricey. I am doing 3.5 bottomends with 3.0 heads installed for 2-2.5k inc parts and labor + I take old motor for core for the next one.

As Tilley said it can be pricey. I might have a buildup in the works for a customer but no prices have been quoted. In due time we will have the best formula for the DIYer or perhaps even offer kits etc. But for now it's not the best route for most people.

It's interesting that I have publicly offered this swap since last May and NO serious people have come forward.
