All this talk about VI's

Ive been reading all this stuff about VI's and all, When Is somebody going to make a Individual TB Vi system for the VQ, I know that Nismo has it on their racing vq, Just wondering what Kind of Gains you would get from something like that?

Good question. I don't see why it's not possible. I mean there isn't a bolt-on unit for the VQ, but then again a reputable company that deals with such things could easily work out a setup. Or you could custom design one. On a 3.0L or 3.5L V6, I'm sure the gains would be MORE than worth the time and money spent.

I think someone put a pathfinder or 300zx TB but didn't have much gains IIRC, or that gains would only be noticeable with forced induction. I could be wrong though.

Ok but changing the size of a single throttlebody and using the same intake manifold is going to bring up obvious results like that. Individual throttlebodies are FAR beyond just increasing the size of the throttlebody.

You are going to have to convert to an aftermarket standalone ecu with a MAP based fuel management system if you go to individual throttle bodies. Unless you use a plenum and a MAF sensor at the inlet, but then what's the point?

Hmm, Still thinking about it, Got some major plans conjouring up here in china, Still undecided though, Its definit that I have to learn A lot more about motors and all too, so I'm planning to go to ITT to get certified so I can know what Im talking about,
