Nismo cams

Does anyone have lift/duration specs, or a graph for the nismo 3.0 cams. As well does anyone have duration specs on the stockers? Has anyone used them? And what other cams are available to us, and what the people who have swapped cams are using, and their opinions. Thanks for the info.

Where did you see that Nismo makes cams for sale to the VQ30?

that would be nice, this is my first import car, and i'm having a hard time coming to terms with the bolt-on market we're subjected to. I hope eventually we can get some decent internals as well, someone has to be storking these motors, sleeving, etc. I just wish we could even get a set of pistons or high flow heads without all the custom work. with so many of these cars around, noone should be a pioneer at this point, but yet the aftermarket hangs us out to dry with overpriced bolt-ons, half of which produce less than exciting results. BUt then again, these cars wake up fast to mods, they run well with a mere exhaust and intake. I guess i am just getting used to my latest mods.

With few exceptions, there's really no need to do anything as drastic as sleeves, pistons, headwork, etc... pretty much everyone making big power (350+ whp) are using the stock block.

Reposition the dowell pin on the intake cam, pretty EZ to do if you know what your doing. Don't waste time with Nismo cams to make lousy 10WHP at best and loose quite a bit of low end. Stock DE-K cams are 232 deg intake and 224 deg exhaust with 36mm intake and 31mm exhaust valves. Ported and polished 3.5L heads with VK45DE valves would be nice with some large cams.

I've heard the gains as you said to be not worth it. I am planning to tear down the top end for port work-decarbonization(112k), and i'd like to swap cams as well, every little bit makes a difference. What would you guys recommend, knowing what's available/possible? would it be benefitial to put 3.5 heads on a 3.0, is it possible? And i believe the chamber is larger, so you'd have to deck it, but other than that what might need to be done? Thanks for the information.
