I have a '97 Fed Spec car, which VI would work for me? And if I can't find a fed. spec. what mods. need to be done to the CALI Spec. VI to make it work with no CEL lights?

The second one is for the lower IM swirl valves.

 

You need to buy an 00 fed spec, so you can use your EGR. If you plan to get rid of your EGR go with hte 00cali or 01.

Mine did not, but Krismax's did. It depends on the lower IM. His upper had one nipple on the actuator but he had swirl vavles.

 

does anyone have a pic of the activator with jsut 1 nipple instead of 2? is it in the middle or off on the inner side and the other one is just pluged up?

 

It is on the left side, side closer to manifold. There is a space for another nipple, but it is not there.

btw is your upper im cracked or jsut got some wierd white stuff on it maybe got a lil too excited about putting it on?? LOL

 

Ya, it was like that when it came out hte engine(engine was out in rain when I went to go get it, who knows what it is). Krismax told me hte same thing.

 

You need that whole vias aemmbly dont you. I remember telling you dont buy that without the vias attached now you need to get another manifold. That is not a part the whole IM is one part #.

 

yea its the same piece i had before i had talked to you... and no i dont need the vias, jsut the solonaid activator piece you were tellign me about like in here ....
