You mean the adapter plate or a plate on the VI? So really there would be no problem using the 5th gen TB if you were to use nismo's method for the IACV correct?

 

I would like a correction to the previous post. As is evident in these two pics the EGR stuff is different between years. The first pic is my engine/EGR. The second is not but I do not know what year it is out of. It is ericj's car although I cannot gather if it was the engine he put in or the one he pulled out.

 

^^^ I can verify that the EGR setup in the 2nd pic is from a 99 Maxima. I know this becuase it is in my sister's 99 SE-L. It could very well be in the 98 or 97. Basically it's an electronic valve connected to a vacuum solenoid instead of a vacuum operated valve.

 

So probably doesn't really make much difference as far as this goes then?

Any chance you could get pics of that plate on the IACV at some point? Obviously not now at midnight, but some point. What TB did you use?

 

^^ I will get some pics posted. Looks kind of ugly right now, just need to re arrange things a little bit. I used the 4th gen TB.

 

I really just want to see the back of the IACV to see how you did that.
