01 cams

since alot of us are doing this 00-01 manifold swap (some bought entire engine, like myself), would the exhaust cams from the 00-01 give some gains also, i remember hearing that they have slightly more lift and are a direct swap, but intake cams i think are the same as fourth gens.Anyone know if this is a worthwile mod??

That would be a complete waste of time. It is 0.5mm more lift but it's also less durtion.

Not to hijack this thread but what about just swapping the Entire Engine? from an 00-01 into a 4th gen?

DEK intake cams have less duration and the same lift as 4th gen intake cams. DEK exhaust cams have the same duration and a little more lift than 4th gen exhaust cams. There may be some top end gains if you can use all 4 DEK exhaust cams in a VQ30, but its probally not worth it.
