It works like a champ. Get the software and cable for the laptop to unlock all the real features. http://www.mohdparts.com/ for more info.

You can use the fuel injector harness to add additional fuel.

You can retard the timing using the ignition harness. You may need some rectifier diodes in order to save the coil packs from getting burned out. You can't advance the timing using the timing harness, as there is no way for the E-Manage to tell when to fire the spark.

I've yet to use the knock sensor harness, but I've got one on order.

ALL motor performance REQUIRES advanced timing, which nobody has definitively proven works on eManage.

I'd go with a SMT6/SMT7 or Unichip instead.

One guy on my350z.com is running it on his N/A 350z. He says that the computer tries to compensate for so many variables that he has to change his maps all the time. It seems like it really doesn't work well N/A. He says he resets his ECU every week.

Or if you have the money, have TS extremely advance your timing and use a J&S to keep it on the brink of detonation.

I'm staying out of the TS responses until I get my car back to normal circumstances. They've done the flash twice now, and I'm ruling out the motor next week. If the motor checks out good, me and TS are about to go around in circles.

That's a big fat affirmative. More details to follow in a seperate thread pending the outcome of the diagnosis next week.

Why next week?

Just go to Autozone and buy a $35 Equis Compression Tester and do it yourself?

Also, studman you might look into this VQ35 crank angle sensor wire problem:

TS ain't paying for nothing right now per my choice. I got the ECU back from them, and something is still wrong with the car. I have another VQ35 car with a TS ECU that I am comparing my car to. The other car has the same mods that I do, and also runs an E-Manage. When I tune that car, it requires little-to-no tuning, whereas my car needs severe tuning. When I talked to TS last, they re-flashed the ECU last week with a little-more aggressive settings than normal.

I have a feeling that it's something mechanically rather than in the ECU... I'm just not 100% sure yet. Once I have my power back, I'll post up what caused the loss in the 5th gen forum.

Ice: FYI - I don't have my Stillen headers installed anymore... I'm on HS headers now, so we can't blame Stillen on this one. Although, the HS headers did raise my numbers up 6 HP and 10 ft/lbs, as well as allow me to hit an-almost-perfect 13.5:1 A/F ratio on Tuesday. It's the smoothest and best tuning I have ever done. I just need to find the problem that is hindering me.

Im with SR on this one, The L spec has always been an alternative but people keep getting TS to flash their ECUs and end up with crappy results. Get the L spec and buy a smt6 to tune. Or you can go with a safc2 for a lil cheaper alternative to tuning but I dont think you can control timing with it like the smt6 does.
