my cars an '01 acura CL type S 3.5L stroker from honda oddessey,headers intake,ud pulley,tstat,traction control delete,SSR comp wheels 17/8 with toyo t1-S234/45 ..one other 13.3 pass was a 60 of 1.950 ...i was hoping for some help from any of you max guys about my DIFF anyone try a phantom grip? i need both wheels gripping..oh btw my car weighs 3600lbs with driver

From what I've heard the Phantom Grip is a POS. I would recommend a Quaife, but I have no idea if they make one for your car....

I'm surprised the type S doesn't come with an LSD. I always just figured they did.

 

so i want a fast n/a car too and pissed cause i dont know how without using FI or juice. SR20 dont get me wrong i brag about your feat and people just dont believe me and i cant give them logic behind it to prove it and they think im lying just becasue i got a max, or that you got to be spraying. like i said in my post before thats a compliment when people swear your spraying or FI and then you prove them wrong thats a lovely feeling.

Well what do you have on your car so far? There's certain things you have to do that you can't get away from, especially if you want a fast NA car.

 

i have just the basic bolt ons, lightened flywheel ,organic clutch, hks ignition, and stillen air intake.

it's a 96 se five speed pretty well loaded with leather so its heavy. i havent run at the track but it seems very peppy as it is. i've hung out with mecca, c max and a couple other org members at springvalley who are boosted so im always in the back.

IIRC that was Hals car.. I dont know the track time but it did over 500hp/tq with boost and spray
