Yeah. The info on his manifold would be worth more than the profit he would make I believe. I mean, what's not to say that the first SS Manifold he sells, that person tells everyone how it's done.. He probly won't get too many more sales after that.. Awesome run BTW SR

Sure if someone wants to spend the money on a spare manifold, pay me to do the work and then have to cut it open with a bandsaw and ruin it. Some people are relentlessly stupid like that.

Just keep it a secret. People who actually know how to build motors should already have a general idea.

you cant be mad at that. you have to admit this is some incredible feat you pulled off with so little HP. i immediatley thought of juice and so will many other people who read this, but take it as a compliment for making us wonder.
if you said you went 14 secs nobody would give a dam#. i know people running 400 hp boosted and all with 12.8 times but if what you say is true it will come out eventually to be the truth or not. stay tuned.

Yeah you're right. I can't blame all the non believers for not being able to pass 7th grade algebra. It isn't their fault they weren't blessed with IQs above 80.

I will list some logical reasons as to why anyone can make 400whp and only run a 12.8.

Vehicle is too heavy.
Vehicle only makes 400whp in owners dreams.
Vehicle has traction issues.
Vehicle makes 400whp only when side stepping the clutch on the dyno (spiking)
Vehicle has a very narrow powerband.
Vehicle gearing does not match well with narrow power band.
Vehicle driver is lacking in required skills to meet vehicle potential.

Now put yourself in my shoes for a second and try to imagine how I feel when I go to the dyno and the computer tells me I only made 263whp.
And again I'll mention I wasn't even driving the car to my or it's full potential when I made this pass. I have more left in me and it has more left in it as it sits right now.

I would have to add 100+ pounds back into the car and buy some real brakes to do that. Then I would still get pwnt by stock Minis and M3s. No thanks.

What is so hard to believe about this, he's only trapping 108, it's not like he trapped 115 or anything which would so huge power. 108 is right in line with what a 270whp 3100lb car should trap. I and a couple others have trapped 102 with like 75-90whp less... You guys who think he is spraying may be mentally handicapped.

They're jealous, I guess.

His next mod should be transplanting his powerplant in a stripped 1995 GXE 5-speed with no options and 9-pound 15-inch wheels

Cams will probably be the very last thing I do unless I find an awesome deal somewhere. The stockers will get me further than I have gone. And I still have the obese stock flywheel. I would love to have a Tilton 16 lb flywheel/clutch combo.

Do you have a link to the thread? I would love to see what was done to that car to get 13.1 on a sc with stock pulley.

Wow, that Tilton looks nice.......The 6 puck closely spaced like that should be a little more forgiving in terms of chattering. I like the fact that the flywheel is included in the package. Price isn't that bad considering what you're getting. I wonder if they make a 4 puck design....not that you'll really need it if the 6 puck, like the SPEC Stage III, is able to hold up to 500lb-ft Torque? I might have to look into that just for the lighter flywheel. Very nice man......

There's no winning so why even play the game? Just do what you do and who cares about the rest. If I could give you the cams for a decent deal, I would.

I just came up with a great idea that I bet no non believer will have the ballz to try.

This will be open to everyone who is willing to come to me, cash in hand, and call BS on my setup.

"I will take my entire engine apart for you to inspect. You stand by and watch carefully. You will have the right to look at EVERYTHING under the hood and inside the engine. If you find one single mod that isn't on this list (typed list I provide on site) I will pay you $2500. However after I prove to you that everything I said was true and everything I listed is here, nothing more, you owe me $2500. If you wish we can even do this on a day the track is open so you can witness the car in action and constantly inspect it. Then we proceed to the shop were you can watch me dismantle the engne."

Any takers? Put up or shutup.
