Exactly. Don't mind these morons. The answer is yes. Since timing chains don't fail there's no chance of piston-to-valve contact.

My MX6 is a non interference engine, meaning even if the timing belt does break there's no valve damage.

Noob question I know but I can't search or make my own threads with my post limit: does the 2K Maxima engine have a timing chain or belt?
