SMT-6 gains !!!

That is a very good point that I overlooked. Emanage can retard timing, but can't advance it. That right there makes this much better for NA applications at least.
I wasn't insinuating that this is an less capable (I'm positive its more capable) than a JWT or TS reflash. The point I was trying to make was that lots of people who I know on here already have TS or JWT ECUs were talking about getting this as well, and in conjunction with a JWT or TS ECU which already HAS advanced timing and altered fuel maps, the gains would not be nearly as significant as their original installation of the JWT/TS, or if they were to install the SMT without an aftermarket ECU. The gains of either unit (JWT/TS) or SMT alone, say 15hp, is not indicative of the gains that you would get if you used them together. Meaning if each one is good for 15hp by themselves, you wouldn't get 30hp by installing both of them. That was the point I was making because it seemed like some people were thinking it would work like that. That was the impression I got from their posts anyways.

I know theres some knowledgable people in this thread so hopefully I can throw out this question and get some responses. Is there any reason that an smt6 woudlnt work on a 6th gen? Nobody has one so im wondering if it will wire up ok and stuff. I might order one eventually and have it tuned.

Also when shops say they can install a SMT-6 on the newer Altima, Maxima, or 350Zs this is BS. They can only advance timing 2 degrees, this is the same as getting your timing advanced with the Consult-2. Anymore advance and it will throw a code. A SAFC A/F tune and a consult timing advance has the same effect.

Just wondering because the "Ultimate eManage" should be out soon.

What does the "Ultimate eManage" have as features?
Speculation so far, but from the bits-n-pieces I've found at least some applications can modify the rev-limiter, MAF to MAP, logging, and some other improvements. Looks like it will include the Support Tool also.

interesting. I wonder how much that thing is going to cost. I would still like to know where I can pick an SMT-7 up from. I'll sell my TS ECU for this thing so that I don't have to swap ECUs everytime I run the nitrous.

I didn't know I was playing, not nice. I just pointed out that he asked a question that was answered just a few posts above. But I apologize for making you shed a tear and sorry to all for tainting this thread.

You can have the SMT-7 installed for now and once timing is figured out 100% it can be rewired and tuned. But to be honest I detonated on the dyno with my 1/4 mile track B map, so im approaching the limits of 93 oct fuel. Im now running a more mild street program and will use some race gas with the B map after my experiences in Texas last week...
That was fixed in the v1.36+ Firmware upgrade versions.

At least I went to trouble of dynoing and proving my point instead of just saying it will advance. Take a look at that application list I see no VQs on it, If this worked as advertised on a VQ they sure as hell would mention it.
cam position that doesn't work on the smt is probably why they didn't list it. too hard to make sure that it works. if the smt raised the rev limiter, i would do that, I feel that greddy has enough lining on their pockets. the ease of use of the emanage right now is the only reason why i am considering it. Although, since i already have an safc-ii i may just get the technosquare, if its affordable enough.
