help,lost hp. with headers

o.k heres the problom, in 2002 i got my car dynoed at stillen open house and got hp.173 and tq.176 with a 2000 max auto with wolf intake and high flow cat.Since then i have added cattman header,ud pulley, grounding wires, warpspeed b pipe and i just dynoed again at stillen and got hp.172 and tg.189.The car seems to run fine no error codes i use 91 gas. Everyone who dynoed b4 and after me got good numbers.I want to change the intake to injen, but im alittle lost as to why i dont have bigger hp. numbers.

Your VI is not operating properly. Check the 5th gen forum for more details.

Whats up Arthur, I got the pics & videos of the dyno you ran. I'm gonna E-mail them to The Wizard & he's gonna host them. Keep checking the West Coast Forum under "Stillen Open House Pics" Thread.

You can still have a problem with the VI, even if outwardly it looks like it is functioning normally. The problem is due to looseness in the internal mechanism that results in less than full opening of the power valve when the VIAS is actuated.

It was only $50 bucks for "Stillen Open House" day. It was a discount just for that day. I'm not sure what there normal price is.

well i checked the back 3 plugs and they look o.k.but i have a injen on the way and i think thats the problom. The jim wolf intake does not move the air intake sensor. So the air temp. is differant then what really does come in, and thats why when i got smogged it was rich. It all makes sence now

Air temp sensor does not affect the way the car runs, it is for diagnostic purposes only, so thats not it.

you are just wasting your money on the injen intake. It looks good but does nothing for performance.
