JWT ECU and SES Codes
I recieved and installed my JWT ECU on my 1999 on thursday and as expected i have some Engine codes. I am Using a 1996 ECU in my 1999 and for the most part everything is working well. Idle is a tad low but while driving no complaints. Well i was curious are there any potentially dangerous effect to driving around with these codes? i know they are all ECU related because once i reconnect my stock ECU they all go away. the codes i am getting are as follows.
P0443
P1445
P1400
P0401
P0300
C0240
B0640
P2A20
P1220
I Do not have these all at once for the most part whenever i start the car i have 3-4 but they vary. From what i read they are mainly EVAP/EGR related. can these hurt the motor in any way?

P1400 1005
1005
1005 is EGRC Solenoid valve
The majority of my information about Diagnostic Trouble Codes comes from my '99 Maxima factory service manual. Unfortunately, DTC 1005 is not in that book. Starting in '99 the Maxima engine uses a step-motor type of EGR valve and with that change, the DTCs changed.
The Chilton and Haynes manuals provide a little information about the EGR Solenoid Valve.
The test procedure for this part is found in the Chilton repair manual (page 4-11) and the Haynes repair manual (page 6-20). Test the valve and replace if necessary.
This malfunction is not an emergency but should be resolved fairly soon (7-10 days). An inoperative EGR valve may result in engine pinging and a variety of driveability complaints.

Most are EGR/EVAP codes. Can you get me some of those wierd codes by using hte ECU screw?
