those using vafc II

Im installing my vafcII right now which I plan to use as an RPM switch for my 00vi. Quick question on the initial setup. What in/out sensor number are you guys using and does it matter? Default is 6 for both but I know these are designed for honda cars. Also what do I set for the vtec type as it is either 1,2 or 3 neither of which corresponds to not available.

cool i set in and out both to 4 so i guess it doesnt make a big difference. was just worried cuz the safc has more settings and seems like honda and nissan use completely different MAF sensors. I guess all it needs is some reading to be able to adjust but the manual was worrying me cuz it was like omg you have to get this setting right or ur **** will explode.

Used 6 both 4 and didn't notice a difference. Did learn you can't run opposite numbers... both in & out have to be set to the same number.

Its like an safc, but provides a ground at a certain rpm point, making VIAS adjustable.
