Dave, are you planning on using the 4th gen lower IM and fuel equipment? If so, we'll need to port match the lower IM and do one of the following:

a) Keensert/Helicoil the lower IM for 6mm bolts
b) Drill out the 00VI bolt holes to 8mm from 6mm

You'll want something to control the VI opening as well; I suggest a VAFC. As far as the EGR is concerned, we should be fine with removing the vaccum source which will keep the EGR valve closed.

But I believe the EGR valves on 99's are electronic.

-PCV valve that doesn't have a 90 degree angle to it, and something to connect to the valve cover with.
-misc vacuum hose
-extra wire to hook up VI, and rpm switch

mr duck - did you get this installed? I am going to take the same route with my 00VI as you have 00VI upper/ 4th gen lower. What are you using as a switch, how did you hook it up? A VAFC is out of the question for memy pockets are not that deep right now. What other parts did you need to get? I am going to do a detailed write up with pics for this setup and want to get all the info I can before I get started.

It sounds like you got everything. You will need to grind down the coil bosses. Your method requires alot of fabrication but its doable. Get lots of hoses various sizes and clamps. As far as the EGR guide tube is concerned you need to look into the local laws for emission testing and I'm not sure about the elctronic setup for the 99s but sounds like it needs a little more research.

The red/yellow wire it power and the other wire, which is green I think, is ground. The ground goes to the rpm switch and then hook the power up to any type of power source.

The left (should be black 2 pin connector) is the one you want to use. For the pins the left pin (on the black connector) should be for power, and the right pin should be for ground. Somebody correct me if I am wrong because I don't have my car infront of me.
