ok i have a 95 max and im getting a 01 maxima 5 speed its totaled for parts im gonan pull the motor/trans out. i was just wondering if anyone have put this motor in a 4 gens max.. i sure its been done just wanan see how hard is it gonna be. is it gonna be worth it 2. anyone have any 1/4 times??? i will be doing the work myself.....

btw what should i do when i have the motor and trans out???? clutch, flywheel.. i bulting a track car not my everyday drive btw...

IMO a VQ30 DE-K would not be worth to swap in a 4th gen becuase the VQ30 nad the DE-K are very similar except for the Intake manifold which boosts the horsepower, you are better off swapping a VQ35 in there and use the 5 speed from that parts car. Vq35 swapped 4 th gens usually run mid 13's or low 14's, tilley 99 ran a 13.3 but hes modded...

3.5 is not drop but well worth it if you got the cash and time. Tilly sells them with most of the fab work done for about 2k shipped, check sticky. the dek is just electrical work.
