What numbers are we looking at with Hybrid Engines?

I've seen a couple of guys online, (mardigras, and Tilley) running some great numbers, mardi of course with boost/nos, and tilley with motor. But what is the base number you looking at hitting 1/4 mile, with these swap. Lets assume you have some basic bolt ons,(headers, cai, pulley, exhaust, PF tb, etc..) what are the times we're looking at for a 5spd and a automatic? is it less than 14's or are we still in the 15's. I'd like to have a all motor max in the low 13's....with a automatic transmission. I know its possible, but I would like to know what I'd be looking at hitting, first with the engine, a nice built 3.5 X 3.0 engine. Then from there work on, to building a very nice, very badas daily driver.

You're looking at 14 flat or better in all scenarios depending on how you drive. And three digit trap speeds. On street tires.

If you go all out like some of us (full headers/exhaust system, full 3.5, slicks) look at the signature.

If you step it up even more (cams, tuning, a good deal of weight reduction) you're talking 12's, although I can't prove it. By that point it won't matter much whether you're auto or 5-speed. Ask Jime, I'll put my money on that he's going to be the first N/A auto in the 12s.

Jclaw, but your setup is the complete 3.5 engine? no 3.0 parts? I see it more feasible to go all motor, than boosting for now. Yeah, well it would be dumb of me to just have a fixed up motor, and no additonal mods, but yeah I would be lookin at doing the cams, headers, exhaust, etc... as far as cams go, am I looking the cams from cattman? 3.5 or 3.0 cams, I'm not familiar with numbers and the car jargon, but just dumb it down if you have to...

I have a full 3.5 with 3.0 timing chain/ECU.

Jime bought new 3.5 aftermarket cams for 600$, might as well get them while you do the 3.5.
