Is welding involved?

There could be. On a 00VI, no.

Yeah its his own business, but why would some one go "hey I have a potentially ground breaking modification that I'm not going to tell anyone about." Doesn't make sense to me. I don't see what the big secret is. If technosquare gave out its codes how many people will actually do it theirself? Maybe a few, but most people are lazy and won't. Just like this mystery manifold, even if you made a write up with pictures I'm guessing very few will take it. And if you do you have the post to prove you were the first. But whatever, we don't want to share any info beyond basic, 'anyone can do' mods.

You can search. I just did and found both Tilley's and Stephen Max's with pics. Matts is different than both of theirs, but its a similar idea. I'm sure you can figure it out.

It's already been said. Extrude hone and lower butterfly plates to be as flush to the runners as possible. However, it isn't going to be cheap. Extrude Hone is like $650 plus shipping. I'm not sure how much a machine shop would charge to adjust the plates because it would entail drilling new holes for the rod to go through and welding the other holes closed.

And if you get it extrude honed, ask them to open up the Throttle body opening to as close to 70 mm as possible incase you ever get a PF throttle body.

*chuckle* why not tap the MEVI runners for additional injectors? Could you not tap it for a 75 wetshot?

1. What good would additional injectors do?

2. Who in the world taps the intake manifold for a single fogger nitrous system?
