is the car driveable? if so trade it in, nice and simple and buy a 6 speed. if you have a loan on it you can trade the loan onto the new one. whatever the difference in price may be for another one will be far less that a conversion, besides the fact that it will be rigged together(no matter how well its done it's still not factory).
if it no longer drives then i suggest you go into the regoinal forum and ask who does swaps in your area. that person will know what parts they need to do the swap, buy them for you, so you dont get the wrong ones, and install it.
if you were going in for heart surgery you wouldnt go to a podiatrist and tell him how to do it would you? you go to a heart surgeon and let him do his thing.

i have too much money put into the car that i wouldnt get back. if it costs me 4k to get the swap done i will save money. bodywork costs bank and i have other things that would end up costing a lot too. plus i wont get much for my car as it has somewhat high mileage (72k) and a body kit plus exhaust that is welded on.

it's your money, body kits bolt off and so do exhausts. i know what its like to put money into a car and not wanting to change it. go to your regional forum and find out who can do a conversion for you then. so long as you have the cash someone will do it for you. make sure they've done it before and you can talk to a past customer(theyll more than likely be on the .org)
