Extending MAF wires isn't an issue...extending TB cables should be interesting though.

If the FWD VQ35 fuel rail doesn't work Nismo3112...let me know.

Sure thing.

The TB cable should be long enough.

the tb cable on the 5th gen maxima is super long, it loops around the engine. I remember mine was laying on the floor when I was putting in a working IM.

I think the 4th gen one is considerably shorter

Mine loops around as well, with the 2k2 IM. I think I remember it reaching almost to the passenger side fender while I had it disconnected.

with a real carbon fiber hood with no underframe on a 4th gen it was inches from fitting, some ones already put one on a 4th gen and gone for a spin. The IM itself isnt the main prob its the TB area

And remember guys you need all 3 pieces of the IM .

I'll have an extra hood that i can hack away. If it's that much of an issue, i'll just get a scoop. It'll be functional, and I don't see how the TB area would be a problem, just get a few couplers and tubing, and extend the MAF wires, and make a bracket for the cable.

I am assuming that with the actual TB bolted on, it will be the highest point of the manifold.

Krixmax, how big of a hole do you think I will have to cut?

oh yeah, having it stick out of the hood > hood scoop

so just cut the underframe out on the stock hood and if it still doesnt clear, get a scoop.
now who is this someone who put one on a 4th gen?
the IM is also the problem because with the TB bolted to it, the IM and the TB at which they meet is the same height
