timing graph

I'm an altima owner and i was experiencing some timing problems. the cam install was not done right. one tooth off on the intake cam. anyways, i was looking forever on different sites for timing graphs or how the timing should be on wot. have not seen any showing how it should be.
Anybody knows what timing should look like? from 16 to 26? or from 22 to 30?
I did the ts flash and want to compare other cars timing and check if i can still run nitrous on my ride without causing any detonation or damage to my engine.

You have a VQ35 I take it? Here's some stock Maxima VQ35 #'s as a start...

EDIT: I missed it that you have a TS... it will be more advanced probably than the above cases

Doesn't the ts flash advance your timing???

If they did I wouldn't go higher than a 50 shot. Here is what I would of done.. If I was going to buy their reflash I would of only asked for their extended rev limiter and no top speed limiter. Then I would use the safc2 or vafc2 to get the right a/f. But you already know all this.

I'm probably wrong like I always am. What do I know about nitrous? nothing. It must of been dumb luck that I didn't blow my engine yet.

I have the technosquare flash and for some reason the send me the car with the exact a/f 12.9-13.1
I have the safc2 to fine tune and problably nitrous. BUT, I don't know if they really advanced the timing or the car actually pulls it back to stock. that is what i want to know

I'm sure you got some 3.5 altima auto friends. Why not go to autozone and rent a odb2 tool and check your timing while driving. Then get into another 3.5 auto that doesn't have a TS ecu and see the timing on there while driving?

Did you call and ask TS if they can reflash your ecu with just the extended rev and no speed limit?

I believe this thread should help you:

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=468488

Seems like the timing for your ECU should be in the 20 - 28 degrees range based on the graphs. The stock timing may be closer to 16 - 24 degree range.

Hope this helps.
