Sorry I have been busy for the past 5 days anyway here is the pick of the bracket with the hoses attached. I am about to re-run all those hoses and toss the bracket since it takes up a lot of room. But I am doing my brakes and removing my rear valve cover (to see what's making a clacking/knocking sound) this weekend.

Also I have to make a correction the rpms do not get bumped up all the time when using a/c or power steering, but rpms do not fall lower than normal idle when using them.

Huh, I never really noticed that when I looked at your swap Shawn. Hell, I just cut & spliced my 5th gen IACV but this so is much cleaner.

Just finished a DEK swap in a 4th gen, and we swapped the main harness for the IACV to use the 5G IACV and it idles fine, just stays near 1500. Will let you know if that is resolved.

Not as of yet, I believe the IACV adjusts based on the temperature of the antifreeze travelling through the throttle body/IACV(2000) during cold starts. If there isn't any fluid travelling through it ala bypassed it remains at a cold temp idle.

Bump for those trying to use the 5th gen IACV.

Also my testament that it works on cold starts and with the AC on.

Bump for a new link since that one is down.

I've got a DE-K in my 4th gen with a PF TB and 4th gen IACV, and only had cold start issues after the install of the PF TB. If I'm reading this correctly, will the use of the 5th gen IACV correct the cold start issues associated with the PF TB?

Most I've read have fab'ed up a way to reuse the 4th gen IACV.
Would a V-Tec controller work?

Anything that can control a device based on a given RPM will work. You can also use a manual switch.

I plan on bypassing the throttle body coolant on my 00VI swap....will that actually cause Cold Idle (1500rpm) all the time?
