00vi installed...have a problem...
just got the 00vi installed today. i didn't know that my 00vi manifold didn't come with the bracket where the throttle cables go. my friend and used some other metal bracket which we dont think is the bracket for the throttle cables but he got it to work but seems a bit loose.
for the vias, we just used a rocker switch since i couldnt get the rpm switch. so i was just playing around with it. from under the hood, i can see the rod piece moving when i flick the switch.
anyway, the car runs fine. on the road going maybe 3-5k rpm flicking the switch on and off, i dont feel any difference. but it does seem to pick up quicker from the previous manifold.
so i was just driving around and about 4000 rpm, i put it on neutral, the car cuts off but was able to steer. i was on a highway with lots of cars and on the left lane so i just let it roll to the right when i got the chance. as it was rolling slowly, i started it up and it was fine then. tried it on the side street again, going about 3500 rpm this time, i see my rpm goes under 500 very easily.
i believe its an idling problem since the throttle cables, the way it was positioned didn't really line up the right way and the cruise control cable was hooked up right at all. so do you guys think i just need to buy that bracket to hold the throttle cables in place? or it's something wrong with the iacv...please help. thanks

im using part of the injen intake also since the other one i bought from the guy, the nipple broke off. im using the short injen intake pipe so the intake kind of looks like those aem v2 set up. ill try to get pix up and running so you guys can see how its set up.
just scared when the car cuts off, one time last night the car completely shut down when i flicked the switch on and rev to 4k rpm while on 2nd gear and dropped to nuetral and car completely shut off. no lights for about 15sec and my gauges went back on and got it to start up but the security light was on while i was driving....very weird..
oh i forgot to mention..im using the 00tb and 00 iacv.
i do have a fuse for the switch connecting the vias. sorry for not making it clear. the pix i have is on gf cam and i dont have that usb to hook it up on my laptop. will try to get it up by today but busy with school. have 2 big case study projects to do...will try my best to get the pix up...thanks for you help

its messy though, but i just wanted it running for now and then will clean it up later. what do you guys think? i know i should move the filter toward the fender...the pipe that i bought from the org, the nipple broke so had to use something...part of my injen intake

i have a better idea, im going to cut the intake hose and attach it to the other part of the intake and put a breather filter where the hose was usually attached to. sounds good?
problem fixed =] loving the 00vi..but need that rpm switch lol. was testing the 00vi with a 99 and 01 acura 3.2 TLs. one has full exhaust, headers, pulleys, intake..yea lota stuff in there and the other one was i think headers and other mods but its gutted out.
i have raced them before and my car couldn't keep up b4 the 00vi mod and changing my knock sensor.
now we went on the highway, im actually walking them on couple runs we did. im surprised how it ran w/o the switch..im not sure if its open or not while driving. i think i left it on the open position. well im happy with the results but will be getting the emu hopefully soon.
