I think the threads I just moved for you are great too. But I just had one observation. Now that you are running an Emanage (blue or ultimate), you no longer need to use injector/maf changes to alter ign timing right?

I don't think he has the EU, just the EB.

I still have the 390cc injectors. The EB makes it far easier to make the MAF/injector corrections. And that is still how I advanced my timing curve. But as I mentioned in other threads, the 390s are too big and my ignition timing is probably advanced too far.

Matt just bumped all/most of the important technical threads. I moved 3 additional threads into the All motor section for easy review. It will not get any easier to see these threads than today. After today, they will get bumped down and mixed in. Use your time wisely.

Hush up and learn something.

There's enough information in the threads bumped to keep you busy for a while, so instead of posting, read and learn.

The only little girl here is you since you can't seem to stop your whining. Just get over it and do some research in the bumped threads, something that you have never been able to do in the past before asking/posting questions. While I agree that we are all here to help each other, I disagree with the majority's belief that they are entitled to be spoon fed whenever they "need" certain information and knowledge.

Since many of Matt's threads have been bumped up (by him), I don't see why you people need to continue your rant.

They were bumped before you posted what you posted. And no, no one said anything to me, but posting your opinion in a public forum makes it fair game for anyone to respond to, if that's not what you wanted, then take it to PM.

Like I already said, move on.

He's not talking about literal gas mileage.

He's referring to bang-for-buck.

For those of you that think they are entitled to the information from matt i think that is BS. Nobody is entitled to anything nor does he owe it to anybody to share it w/ them. IMO it is cool of people to share their information to help people out, but it isn't required. My only gripe was w/ the intake manifold and that was only because i was not able to purchase it, but other than that Matt has shared alot of valuable info w/ us.

So what exactly made teh SSIM secret? Would this mod apply to 6th gens? Due to lack of "toys" for our gen of the maxima, any power boost would gladly help

Thanks Fellas,

It's not secret...anyone with half a brain that looks into their 3.5 manifold and sees pics of SR20DEN's engine bay can figure it out. And yes, it applys to your car as well. Supposedly it will push the curve a bit to the right.

That would make things too easy...but if I do get my hands on another 3.5 plenum, I'm definitely going to get before and after dynos to compare.

oh by the way, can you post a writeup of how you put your lightweight battery on? My terminals are on top and yours seem to be on the side.

The side mounted terminals didn't pose a problem with a little gentle persuasion of the cables.

I think it might be a little bit harder for an A32 owner to get the positive cable to reach that type of battery since the starter is closer to the rear of the engine bay.

I had an Odyssey on my 4th gen for a while before I switched... it's not hard to rig up, just flip it 180 degrees from what he has so that the terminals are facing the rear.

Just let the dang IM be kept secret. For those who figured it out, just let it be and keep it to yourself. SR20DEN created it and does not want anyone to know so lets just keep it that way. But that picture is all you need to figure it out.
