Is it a bad ecu, bad wiring harness or could it be the starter???????????

I am the one who had the Help me please Thread(2000 5spd Maxima with misfiring problem). Okay here we go I got my car from the machanic that had it and brought it home. It cranked the next morning before i went to work fine and it was still misfiring. I didnt drive it to work i left it in the garage all day until about 3 pm. I cranked it up and let it run and i went to each coil pack and unplugged them. The car didnt change when i unplugged cylinders 1 and 2 so i switched the 2 coil packs with the ones next to them and cylinders 1 and 2 still didnt change(Not the coil Packs) the way it ran. Next I unplugged the the coil packs again (Cylinders 1 and 2) and put a test light on the plug or connecter to see if it was getting a signal and they were not!! So i cut the car off and decide i am going to take it to the dealership! I got dressed and came back to crank up the car and it wouldnt start. I tries to but it wont start again i immediately check the same coil packs spark plugs and test the spark plugs to see if they were sparking and they were not getting a spark signal!! Sorry for this long thread!!!!!

If you know a local 5th genner, borrow their ECU and see if it is indeed the ECU that's bad. It's not a common problem, but it is possible.

Process of elimination.

He'd have to get the ECU reprogrammed to do that. $_$

listen check the crank sensor by the transmission. I'm not too familiar with the 00 swap but I know I have a problem with my 3.5 and that sensor you might have to shave some of that aluminum off. Btw I had the similar problem with the 3.5 swap. So if you can check that

I have a couple of problems. One I cannot start a thread, dont know why. Thats why I am posting my other problem here. I have a 5 gen GLE and I believe I have a bad starter. It started weakly for a day and a half, and now it wont turn at all. I bought a new starter and found out that I cannot reach one of the 17MM bolts unless I take off a sh*t load of parts, including the cooling hoses. Has anyone replaced a starter on a 2000 or the like? Tell me what your experience was like. Thanks.
