Help installing a Autometer Air/Fuel Ratio gauge

I posted this in another forum so hopefully I can get better help here. I am trying to see what wire I need to tap into in order to get my gauge working.

I noticed that the O2 sensor has two connections into the ECU-- but which one do I need to tap into? Blue/yellow or white? Also, which O2 sensor would give me the most accurate reading?

Am I even doing this correctly?? If not, someone please tell me the right way.

Anybody's help is much apreciated!! Thanks

neither sensor will give you an accurate reading.. if you want that, you need to get a stand alone WBo2 gauge..

to answer your question; just plug it in to any of the two o2 wires.

Thanks for the input... what I meant by accurate is will it work, or give me a somewhat idea if i'm running rich or lean... I guess I shouldnt have used that word... now to get it done!
Thanks again!!

According to one of the guys at Autometer, their a/f gauge will not read properly with the maxima ecu. If you are using it for tuning, which should be the reason to have one, don't, it will not be accurate. You will have no idea if you are running lean or rich. You will be guessing, period!

Never tune with a narrow band O2 period

You shouldn't really be tuning with an Autometer A/F guage though, either. Those things are more for looks than anything.

my A/F gauge worked perfectly, but showed i was running rich, which I was. I didnt expect much from it, as it was a narrowband O2.
