using vafc-II if there is a bad oxygen sensor?

can a vafc-II still be tunable if i have an oxygen sensor that is throwing a code? if i can tune will it yield poor gains? thanks

It wont matter because the AFC will only modify signal in open loop control. In this mode (open loop) the o2 sensors are ignored and the MAF sensor is used, and the AFC modifies the MAF signal, therefore it will not matter what the o2 sensor's reading is.

that was the best answer i could have asked for, got a new maf recently so i should be fine for a vafc-II, thanks alot man
