3.5 starts runs bad no fuel

I got my 3.5 started. It ran fine the first day..then second day i put on my y-pipe and it ran like a piece fo s8it. I noticed that the front 3 banks are not firing...there is spark but nothing. I pull out the coil packs and it starts as though those coil packs are in. I check many times there is spark. There is a code p1336 i believe for the cps. I changed the cps to a working on...still the same thing. I'm using the 3.5 oilpan with the 3.5 cps wired into the 3.0 harness. I took off the y-pipe and then noticed that there was no smoke at all coming from the front banks, only cold air. The air didn't have a single hint of fuel in it at all. My fuel is set at around 52-55 psi. any help would be greatly appreciated :-(

double check the wiring for the cps, and make sure the grounds are good for the injectors. I know grounds are a major issue on these cars.

i'm gonna double check on the injectors grounds and the harness. I like double and quadrople checked the cps. I just did a compression test last night on the front bank and they were all getting 180 didn't get a chance to do the rear because i did it at 1am in the morning. Need to get my hand on a noid light so i can check the injectors.

so i took out the intake and took a look at teh injectors and 2 of them were wired wrong. Got that fixed. I'm getting fuel in all the cylinders now. The front are firing. I confirm that by taking out all the coil packs for the back and turning on the car and it works. Now it just runs like *** video soon

Can you install all the exhaust so we can hear the true sound instead of extremely wierd sounds. When you say headers, do you also mean y-pipe (normally included with y-pipe ... duh) ... if no then my unborn sister could say that your O2's aren't working. Since you said the only code you are getting is ignition related then I am guessing it is safe to assume that you removed the cat and all back. Try installing those and then taking a sound clip. Perhaps the different/filtered sound will help us pin-point the problem

Well then how do you have O2 sensors installed without a y-pipe? I mean now that you installed the Y-Pipe it isn't the case. I recommend finishing the exhaust. It really isn't hard to remove if you have to take it out again.

Got code p0300 multicylinder misfire

would anyone say that this is due to timing being off....?

I am just saying that having the O2s would help with how rough it is. Bad O2/absense of do not create misfire, but it also just eliminates another possibility of chain reactions.

Is your timing all lined up? Remember that long thread about the timing case that jumped like 2 teeth or something like that and the car was running like royal *&^%

so today i woke up went outside fire up the car. Of course it ran the same. Then i went and unplug the cps from the timing case and it ran the same. Does this tell me something is screwed up inside the timing case...maybe wrong timing something jumpped a tooth or something?

i'm gonna say that the timing chain jumped a tooth or two. Is there anyway to ensure that the timing chain will not jump a tooth or two? seems like lots of people are having this problem.
