No crank after 5spd swap
I just finished doing 5spd swap and my car does not crank at all. I know the starter is good, because I bought a new starter from autozone and hot wired starter to see if it will turn. I checked all the wiring with my multimeter, check the voltage and resistance. Black/Red wire that goes on to the starter connector, does not get any voltage to it when I have key in start position. So I checked all the fuses and wires related to starter circuit, and they were all good. I also have my neutral safety switch wires hooked up right, so ecu sees the tranny in neutral all the time. I have aftermarket alarm installed on my car, which I bought the car with. Can aftermarket alarm disable ignition system? Note that I have no manual for the aftermarket alarm.
thanks in advance.

look up the make of the alarm system you have installed and see if that feature is built in.
if anything disable the alarm system just to eliminate that as a factor.
make sure all grounds are connected, if any were dis conencted.

Do you still have the inhibitor relay wired in?

I am not sure you understood that...I wired the park/ neutrall switch wires together so the ECU knows its in Neutral....and what inhibitor relay are you talking about?...as for the flywheel? what would that do for it to not crank...the engine is not seize nor tranny is stuck..I ve cranked the starter from the battery and it cranks so that is fine...Ive checked the voltage meter from the ignition to the starter relay...checked the wire harness too..its fine..I think it has something to do with the alarm...thanx for the imput guys keep them coming...its a little frustrating at this point....I think I might have to rip out the alarm to pinpoint any discrepencies to this delima

In an AT you have an inhibitor relay wired between the ignition switch and the starter solenoid.
In an MT you have a clutch interlock relay carrying out same function.

Wow...thanx for that clearafication. I will try to reference that....much appreciation.
