wide band question

Hey guys, I'm going to be installing cattman headers in the new year, and want to tune with greddy emanage ultimate. I know I need a wb02 sensor. But is that all I need? Was looking for wb's on ebay and can get one (bosch for around 60 bucks if that is all I need.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Bosch...QQcmdZViewItem

or

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/INNOV...QQcmdZViewItem

the second one looks better mostly becasue it has a longer cable...

Thanks in advance guys.

You need a complete wideband unit, not just the sensor.

More common makes include: PLX, Zeitronix, Innovative

I have a PLX R300. Very nice unit and friendly/useable software support.

I'm not sure about the software it(Innovative) comes with, but IIRC you need to purchase an RPM convertor in order to plot against RPM (very important in this case).

Also, not sure if the EMU has these capabilities so that the RPM convertor may not be needed. EMU needs linear output. So whatever WB you get, make sure it has a linear output so that it is compatible with the data logger the EMU is equipped with.

I was also looking at the innovative, but had some no-so-good reviews for it.

Check my thread on the subject.

I went with the PLX-R300.

I have a Zeitronix Zt-2. And it does exactly what I want it to do with a laptop hooked up; with the software that comes with it, it plots RPM to AFR. You can probably use it for some other testing and whatnot, but I dont need it for that just yet. awesome unit

It all depends on what you want. Research the shiit out of the subject, then make the purchase that's right for you.

i'll probably go for the lc-1 or zt-2 mostly because of the price. I have autoenginuity with the nissan support but I havent found much time to use it or play around with it. I found the manual very uninformative. I'm staying n/a so i don't need a permanent gauge set up. I was hoping the wideband hooked up directly to the emange unit...

Either of those 2 WB's can be used easily with the EU and will hook up directly to it (ie-- with the EU no other rpm converter/logger required).
