00VI EGR Block Off Plate

I had one made by taking a stock 00 guide tube and having the tube cut, then welding over the outside of the hole. The inside it completely flush and heres the question.

Do I need a spacer on the block off plate that goes against the manifold ?? I have the gasket in there but I just have the plate against the manifold with no other spacers in there.

If you look at the stock 00VI setup with the EGR guide tube going through, there is a small spacer that goes agaisnt the gasket.

I feel like im not getting a seal there

See that spacer..I dont have that spacer

Matty, I looked up the gasket you need:

14722-2Y000

I have a question for you though. I lost those screws that bolt the EGR plate to the manifold, but I have the part numbers for them.

They didn't show up at any Nissan dealer.

Do you mind finding the thread and pitch of those 2 bolts for me? I'm in dire need of these bolts.

Thanks,
Grant.

Matt:
IIRC, where that attaches to the UIM there a circular, spaghetti-like gasket set into a groove. I suspect that disc-spacer is only there to insure that the gasket has even pressure all around it for a good seal.
Hope you had a Merry Christmas, and have the best of New Years.
Oh, and MaxBoost925, re those 2 bolts: IIRC either 6x1.0, or more likely 8x1.25 (metric, of course). I believe those are the 2 most commonly used metric sizes. Try each (by hand) - only one's going to fit.
