ya, it doesn't look like he has that throttle stop canister on though. i guess not many people are using it on the 5g tb.

I have the 00VI with canister and an ebay fstb. Mine is too close for comfort, so I'm not using mine until I have a chance to modify the brackets so it fits.

What kind do you have Aznsap and do know anyone who has a cut-off wheel and a welder? It should be a pretty straight forward mod for anyone with those tools.

I think they all clear, it's just that with the rubber motor mounts and motor shift, it will come in contact.

Did anyone ever figure out which strut bars cleared? I'm likely switching to a 5th gen throttlebody and my old one won't even clear my current setup (not the throttlebody, but other throttle related stuff on top of the manifold).

I had an Alutec FSTB with my DE-K (5th gen TB, 4th gen IACV), and it cleared very comfortably.

Tatanko, I bought a 5th gen FSTB off ebay and it bolted right up without any modification. I will warn that my clearance from the tops of the mounts to the inside skin of the hood it probably between 1/16" and 1/8" and that is without the hood liner. The beauty is that it more than clears all the stuff on top of the 00VI and the valve on the 5th gen TB. I like the 5th gen FSTB much better because of the bracket full circle design (just like Stillen). I can send you the link to the ebay store and pics installed if you want.
