Proper MEVI activation point (VID + Dyno)

I have hooked up the Summit RPM switch to activate MEVI at 5100rpm .. went for a dyno and you can clearly see the power drop and then rebound.. IIRC this is because the mevi is activating to early/late.

What should I set it too based on the dyno? 5000rpm?
Blue = MEVI, Red/Green = pre-mevi runs

It looks like the MEVI is being engaged too early. I'd try between 5400 and 5500 rpm.

to get the right activation point wouldnt you dyno with it open and then closed? then find the point where the power graphs intercept and use that for the activation point?

Well there's always going to be at least a TINY dip in the graph as it crosses over. That is simply the fault of the manifold taking a second to cross over. That one isn't a simple "crossover dip," though, I don't think. I would try moving to 5200 or even 5300 and seeing if that feels/dynos better.

My perfect set point was 5600rpm according to the dyno. There was no noticable dip in the graph either...

Well my MEVI is from Factory, and wouldn't you know that it did use to activate at 5700rpm (before I broke activation and had to go Summit switch).. I was hearing that 5200 rpm odd was a good activation point and gave more useable rpm range that starting at 5700rpm... Would suck if 5700 was the best after all

That's not cool. 5700 RPM, fun begins, only to end prematurely at 6500. Have you researched rev limiter options?

Not really, I know that I can't use a JWT ECU as the wiring harness is different for starters... i don't know of another way to increase rev limit without ECU swap
