Forcing the ECU into open loop with the EU

I'm about to give this a shot with the analog input/output. I have the TPS wired up to utilize this, but what I need to know is if I send the TPS pin on the ECU 12v, will it damage anything? Usually this pin sees around 4v. Anyone with experience on this?

Why not throw some resistors in there to be sure?

Watch the analog input/output wiring cuz the EU manual has a discrepancy between the jap & eng instructions on that too
