Ok, so I'm in the middle of my 3.5L swap, pic:

I've been told that pathfinder TB = worky.

I just got a cable driven TB from a 2002 3.5L Pathfinder, none of the holes seem to line up, it looks like a no go. Can someone take a pic of theirs b/c I'm confused here.

Um you need a bracket. If you don't wanna do that, check the stickies on how to convert the DBW tb to a cable TB and then sell your pathy TB to me

Where is your cooling?

can I get a picture of this adapter plate? Will get in touch with him.

If I do convert my Maxima TB over, I will be selling off the Pathy TB. Either way, I'm putting that Pathy TB to use or selling it because I paid a bit for it. $225 to be exact.

Cooling...it's currently looking like a universal Griffin aluminum radiator. I can't use the stock one b/c the ports are on the wrong side and I can't use the maxima one b/c it's too big. It's a tight fit, especially if I end up with a 3" thick radiator.

Headers (hehe, I get to use an 'S'....sorry, I'm usually a 4-cyl guy), I found them on ebay, they were labeled for an Altima 3.5. Just some cheap shiny headers that fit my budget. I don't even know what brand they are but they are brand new and look well built. Nice thick flanges and clean welds, can't ask for anything better.

BTW, I took a pic of the 2 TBs I have, I'm sure you all know which is which:

To convert the Maxima TB, you will need a 4th gen TB for parts... Which can be found for pretty cheap.

The final product will look like this:

Drive by wire on the left (2002+maxima/altima) and on the right is a 2000-2001 maxima TB

actually, the one on the right is pathfinder. I'd prefer using an adaptor plate if possible, any pictures of that? That way I can use the pathfinder throttle body.

It's a piece of aluminum block with a 70mm hole in the middle and sets of holes for the tb and the IM. It can be made with one block so the TB might be clocked a little bit.

Why not just use the DBW and the 2002 Maxima ECU?

This is an odd question, but because this is a race car and because it is standalone, is there anybody out there with a Maxima or a Z running velocity stacks with ITBs?

not sure, I prolly couldn't near afford it, but I wanted to look into it.

I know the standalone can run by MAP or by throttle vs RPM.
