ECU code and stored info....

Yesterday I had to pull all the wires from my SMT6 so that I can pass my emissions test (OBD2 reading). Unfortunately now I have an 0407 CPS code. I'm pretty sure this wont affect my emissions test, but it could be a problem for safety inspections in the future....

Here is the question: If I clear the ECU codes by the turnscrew method, will I lose all the information from the self learning databank? In other words will the last 100 miles I put on my car for this upcomming emissions test be lost?

As you probably know, if your battery dies or you swap ecus you have to drive it for a while before it will be ready.....

I would like to go in tomorrow with NO CELs. but I will if i have to.
