5 speed swap stalling issue

background-
3.5 swapped. auto died. now 5 speed swapped. No iacv. Neutral clutch safety switch is hooked up.

No its not due to my ****ty driving. Initially i thought it was my battery. So i jumpstarted my car and it started just fine. It was warm enough to idle by itself (at a slightly low idle). Both me and my more experienced manual driver father tried putting it in reverse only for it to stall. At this point my electronics flashed and there was a bunch of clicking going on. The car would not start, NO cranking nothing. The radio would not even play. So i thought the battery was just junk. Jump started again, everything started normal. It drove normal...But i didnt turn it off at the gas station in fear that it might not start back up. Came home after a 30 minute drive. Turned car off, tried to start NOTHING. No radio. THE TRUNK RELEASE DOESNT EVEN HAVE ENOUGH POWER.

So i charge my old battery over night and put it in the car this morning. Car starts fine. I stall at a light because its my 2nd time driving the car with it being manual. The car starts right back up (and the next couple times).

After school today I start the car and it starts fine. Its hot out. I rev it up to get it to idle normal and it is idling but the lights are dimming in the gauge cluster until i rev it up. I dont remember it doing it like that before with the auto when it had a little trouble idling on a cold start.

I go to put it in reverse and the car dies. No power to start the car again. Jump start from a friends car. Drive forward and the car stalls again. Needs a jump again. At this point i started thinking maybe when i'm pressing the clutch the Revs are going too low and with no IACV and power steering it might be stalling due to that. But that doesnt explain why i have no power to even open the trunk.

Later in the day I'm at the post office and the car stalls after i get in it and start it up and am talking on the phone with it idling in neutral, parked. Once again NO POWER. I start pushing the car back to see if someone will jump start my car for me. I get in to unlock the steering wheel and i turn the key and everything turns on normal and then i try to start the car and it starts COMPLETELY FINE.

so with this much said...i dont think its the battery...but its not due to my driving either..since it stalled idling and had the same power problems.

No cable are loose on the battery or the battery ground. what could this be? I almost bought a new battery but i feel as if thats not the problem. Is there something electrical I might have missed?

Tranny grounded? Any alternator wires cut? When car is idling, remove the batt ground; does the car stay on?

How do I check the tranny ground? The car has been starting and driving fine the last hour I've been running errands with it. I moved some loose auto harness connectors off the tranny just for ****z and gigglezzz.

Get the battery and alternator load tested at autozone. Sounds like a dead alternator, or loose alternator wires.

my car shut off again as i was coming to a stop in neutral with the clutch pressed in. power came right back as i heard the radio come back on and i quickly started the car back up
everytime i start my car, I get a blinking o/d light. It used to do this when i used my full line pressure switch but i dont see why it would do it now?
I checked my wires for the neutral safety switch and i didnt see anyway they could touch.
the keypoints im looking at is its Dieing while i'm driving at random times, and its COMPLETELY dieing. I couldnt turn on my hazards if i had to. no power PERIOD.
it doesnt sound like a battery problem to me but its definently something electrical and its pretty frusterating. I'll get my stuff tested tomorrow. I just...have no idea.

my battery connections are a joke to say the least, but i dont see why they would be perfectly fine to start the car and then be the cause of the problem of why the car is getting absolutely no power all the sudden.
I'm going to buy a new battery anyway, just because i know the ones i'm trying in the car are old although i'm skeptical that its the problem considering how it shuts off when im driving and all that. After looking at some wiring diagram the alternator does in fact connect to the battery through a fusible link but...i'm not good with this electrical **** so i think we can safely say that i have no idea wtf is going on.
I just wish it was a loose wire i could find...

sounds like an alternator problem.

my brothers max experienced something similar. we jumped his car, power everything. reved in neutral fine, put it in drive, power went out. did that every time. Changed the alty problem solved.

get yours tested and see if its bad. Do you have the VAFC II installed? if so, set it to display the battery voltage, that can help also. Saved me when my alty was dying.

man alternator is what i thought too. I am trying to find out when it does it most. Its not completely dieing anymore for more than a FLICKER/split second. It never stalls and has me pulled over on the road, it goes off (shuts everything off completely) and then comes back on and i can start the car up. Its as if the problem is getting better...but im going to replace the battery and re-do the connectors first.
I have a low idle and sometimes i think with the radio playing, when i clutch in it drops down to like 450 RPM and comes back up...so that could cause a stall when it goes down that low...but that still doesnt explain a complete shut off of all power.

I do not have a VAFC2. i would like to get one but i am in need of so much **** right now...brakes, 02 sensors...

hummm...... interesting comment...... because that's the first thing to check when diagnosing a charging/starting system problem.......
